The exploitation of radio-relay and space stations department (ERSSD) of Main TV & BC Center executes the activity since 1992. It is specialized on the projects of telecommunication with creation of communications networks and data-transmission systems by usage of radio means.

    The principal directions in activity:
    - Construction and technical exploitation of digital radio links communication (DRLC), on the basis of the domestic and import equipment;
    - Coupling of digital flows, created by Radio Links (RL), multiplexers, routers and other equipment;
     - The construction and technical exploitation of urban and suburban radio networks with multiple access for maintenance of telephone communication and data transfer in places, where construction of wiring networks is hindered or economically unfairly.

    In it's activity on accommodation of a wireless and other telecommunication equipment, ERSSD  rests upon technical facilities of the Ostankino and Shabolovskaya TV Towers, that provides full coverage of Moscow and the majority of the Moscow area with a line-of-sight radio systems.

SERVICES

     ERSSD offers a broad spectrum of services on construction and maintenance of networks and communication systems, including:
    - Analysis of a technical situation of the CUSTOMER and concretization of problems on a system creation;
    - Selection and guideline to the CUSTOMER of the optimal equipment, know-how and system components;
    - Tracking of activities concerning the design and obtaining of radio frequencies and decisive documents for the CUSTOMER in bodies of communication management of Russian Federation;
    - Fulfillment of design activities of created systems and communications networks;
    - Expertise of engineering designs;
    - Ordering of the indispensable equipment and components for communications systems from their manufacturers and corporations - associates with the subsequent delivery of them to the CUSTOMER;
    - Integrates the equipment of different corporations in a unified communication system;
     - Fulfills the construction and mounting of systems "on a turn-key basis", with their subsequent maintenance etc.

Radio Links Maintained by ERSSD

     Now the ERSSD specialists exploit a network of digital radio links communication with about 30 directions, distributed all over the territory of Moscow and Moscow area. Among it's clients there are such companies as CENTRAL TELEGRAPH; ITAR-TASS; PRESIDENT ADMINISTRATION; VGTRK and others. That allows effective and fast commutation of digital transmission paths 2 Mb/sec between RL and OFLN networks. At thus constituted general RL and OFLN network a great number of free digital transmission paths 2 Mb/sec is present, which can be used again by a newly connected clients for a transmission of information.

     Besides, ERSSD participates in creation of the composite telecommunication projects, such as "IRIDIUM" terrestrial network of satellite communication, "ALCATELL - 9800" wireless telephone access system.

BUSINESS CONNECTIONS

     The ERSSD supports business connections with the representatives of practically all foreign and domestic firms, engaged  in the production of radio-relay and other telecommunication equipment. But the most close contacts were established with the company " Tadiran Microwave Networks " (USA). The equipment of this company is used practically on all radio links, created by our department. Almost all ERSSD specialists are trained at " Tadiran Microwave Networks " and have the appropriate qualifying certificates.

     Any communication or telecommunication network will be dead or is ineffective, if not maintained by the specialists. The ERSSD employees are highly qualified specialists with wide experience of creation and maintenance of composite telecommunication systems and networks. ERSSD not only creates and maintains composite systems and communication networks, but also trains the CUSTOMER's personnel to operate with them.
