Unusual solutions for tower tourism

The Ostankino TV Tower continues collaboration with the leading art university in Russia in industrial, monumental and decorative design. In the examiners' face, 4th year students of the Design Faculty's Department of Environmental Design presented projects for development of excursion activities at the highest building in Europe. A member of the Ostankino Tower's team, head of development department A. Nefedova also took part in the diploma commission's work.

Student O. Vagabova (Ac. Ad. E. Ivanova) presented the concept of entertainment multimedia space dedicated to Cosmonautics Day on the Tower's territory. Her project includes creation of the mobile app with informative content, multimedia play and educational content about space on the glass floor section.

Student V. Artyomova (Ac. Ad. P. Kozlovsky) prepared the exterior design project for our open space for holding an international festival dedicated to the Tourism Day. It includes creation of volumetric-spatial composition and allows to look at the world cities from the height using 3d mapping technology.

Student A. Gergel (Ac. Ad. E. Ivanova) showed the project of Moscow multimedia excursion from Tower's observation deck using AR and VR.  With them you will able to visit the most famous Moscow locations without leaving the TV Tower.

We hope the most actual ideas of young designers will come true on the Ostankino Tower.
