National Sports Awards - 2020

Today, on December 9, in Irina Viner's Gymnastics Palace, the solemn award ceremony for laureates of the National Sports Awards -2020 will take place. The Ostankino TV Tower has become a partner of the event for the first time. At media facade of the tallest building in Europe there is an informational video showing symbol of the award - statue of a running athlete.

Russian National Sports Awards has been held for 11 years. Nowadays it is one of the most important awards in the Russian sports field. The title "laureate" and the cash prize are awarded to athletes, coaches, sports organizations, journalists and media staff, also Russian regions and sports facilities which promote sports. In 2020, the National Sports Awards will be held in 11 nominations in 18 categories, including Pride of Russia, For Service to Sports, Sports for All, Sports Parnassus.

Our country has rich history of sports victories, inspiring us to new achievments. The Ostankino Tower is proud of our athletes and with great pleasure supports initiatives aimed at promoting physical culture, sports and healthy lifestyle.
