Festival of the children television “Join In!” had started in the Concert Hall “Korolevsky”

The 11^th Festival of the children television “Join In!” would be held from June 6-8, 2016 in the Concert Hall “Korolevsky” in Moscow city.  Large-scale child’s competition had gathered 282 works from the child’s and youth studios, as well as television companies screening programs for children.

The festival accepts juniors from all around the country. Representatives of such cities as Ufa, Yakutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Taganrog, Voronezh, Khabarovsk, Kazan, Ulan-Ude, Saint Petersburg, as well as cities of the Republic of Crimea have met at the bottom of the legendary TV tower.

Festival “Join In!” is a unique opportunity for children to feel like real professionals and to get involved in television professions. Junior stage directors, operators, newspersons are already operating at the site, and some of them had already tried to act as cartoon makers.

Adult expert jury and children’s jury would assess competition works. Results of the competition are to be made at final date of the festival, and winners are declared at solemn awarding ceremony on June 8.

Festival program involves master classes of known journalists, stage directors, teachers, open views and discussion of competitive works with jury members, creative practical workshops, excursions to screening sites of TV channels.
