Cosmos hotel was built for the Moscow Olympics-80. Then there was a press center, where journalists from all over the world had been preparing reports about the legendary sports festival. After the Olympics Cosmos continued to receive foreign guests, in parallel, was an iconic concert venue.

Cosmos is still considered one of the symbols of the Soviet era. Nowadays the hotel has become famous thanks to action shots from "Day watch".
