Ostankino TV Tower at World AI & Data Challenge

The Ostankino TV Tower has applied for World AI & Data Challenge for creating a system of ecological surveillance and weather forecasting. This system will be able to set up patterns between weather changes, atmosphere processes and ecological situation in Moscow for more relevant meteo information.

This idea become real due to unique meteological complex, located on the Ostankino Tower. The complex gets information from 8 points simultaneously. It's the highest meteo complex in Moscow. Except of measuring temperature, pressure, humidity and wind, there are some sensors, which measure air pollution.

Also, in the Tower there is an meteorobot, it is part of the multimedia interactive complex, which displays weather data on the screens online, and each our guest can discover them.

As a part of the project, specialists are going to work on the goal of tourist flow increase, based on traffic data for each hour, weather and audience sequencing. In addition, experience of world high buildings - members of the World Federation of Great Towers, wnich includes the Ostankino TV Tower, will be explored.
