On Ostankino Tower record was established

On December 24, on the Tower was established record named "The highest mailbox location in Russia above ground level." Member of the Russian Book of Records Stanislav Konenko presented the certificate of record registration to Alexei Popov, first deputy of general director of RTRN. This event has given start to the joint project of the Ostankino Tower and Russian Post "Send a postcard from bird's eye view."

The project “Send a postcard from a bird's eye view” aims to bring people together on the eve of New Year holidays, which are traditionally celebrated with family, and to remind of wonderful tradition of sending beautiful postcards to relatives and friends, with best wishes or with greetings.

Uniqueness is explained in the fact that our visitors are able to send postcards from the highest mailbox in Russia, which is installed on observation deck of the Ostankino TV Tower at 337 meters altitude.

The action will have taken place until the end of January 2020. Guests of the Ostankino Tower need to buy a postcard with the image they like and an envelope, sign it and drop in the mailbox.
